Archaeologist

The type of social scientest I want to be is an archaeologist because whenever I hear the word archaeoligist I think of myself in a desert trying to dig up the past.  That seems like a cool thing to do.  It's very Indiana Jones and I would really like to go on an adventure like that.

The idea of finding  lost treasures and finding missing pieces to a puzzle would make all the plotting and digging worth it.  Once I dug up a time capsule in my yard.  It was from a long time ago.

Also, when I went to Redang, we saw a shipwreck and also found pieces of pottery from ships that must have crossed this area during the spice trade.  That day I really felt like an archaeologist.

If I were an archaeologist, I would want to find old cities and lost treasure.    You would find me in Egypt digging up tombs and treasure and solving the puzzles and riddles of ancient civilizations.
